SPOTLIGHT: A segment where spotlight our favourites from different industries.

As a debut to our new segment, where we spotlight selects from our favourite designers, djs, make up artists, lifestyle influencers, foodies, and everything in between, we had a fun chat with CoCo, a make up artist who has quite a portfolio under her belt.

我们最近新推出了一个栏目，专门精选我们最爱的设计师，DJs，化妆师，生活博主，美食家等。最近我们和CoCo女士聊的很开心，发现她是一位才华横溢履历丰富的专业化妆师。

CoCo is the former makeup director of The Voice of China. This is one of the biggest reality talent show singing show competitions in China. She is also an educator at the Shanghai Ky Make up Institute, Creative Director at Shanghai FeelingShoot photography studio Makeup Department, Executive makeup instructor of large cosmetic brands in Shanghai, and Instructor at Shanghai MAOGEPING Makeup institute. Whew! That is quite impressive. But it does not end there.

CoCo曾任中国好声音栏目组化妆师总监，你肯定知道这是一档国内最有名的歌唱比赛真人秀。她同时也是上海KY化妆培训学校彩妆整体讲师，上海扉灵婚纱摄影化妆部视觉总监，上海各大型彩妆品牌执行彩妆培训讲师，上海毛戈平形象设计艺术学院教务部讲师。是不是很厉害！她的经历还不止于此。

She has been in makeup industry since 2013. CoCo is definitely one of the top tier make up artists we have come across. She has a keen understanding and grasp of international fashion trends, and is recognised by many artists and brands. She has worked with multiple entertainment festivals, Shanghai Fashion Week, Shanghai Film Festival, fashion show advertising, magazines, MV the list goes on and on.

CoCo绝对是我们遇到的最顶尖的化妆师！2013年她便进入了彩妆行业，凭借精湛的技艺，对国际流行元素的敏锐领悟和把握，她受到众多艺人以及时尚品牌的认可。她的工作涉及各类娱乐节目，上海时装周，上海电影节，时装秀宣传广告，杂志，MV等。

Foundation is a girl’s best friend, no reference point! We are kidding, but below is the make up artist’s foundation collection which she swears by. Some of these brands include: YSL, Chanel, La Prairie, Bobbi Brown, Make Up Forever, Givenchy, Ester Lauder, Lâncome, MUFE, Dior, Armani, Chantecaillie, Charlotte Tilbury, Clé de Peau, Omorovicza …

粉底液绝对是每个女生的好朋友。下面是CoCo作为专业化妆师强烈推荐的粉底产品。其中包括，YSL(超模粉底液)，香奈儿(臻美感光丝绒粉底液)，莱珀妮(紧致粉底液)，Bobbi Brown(虫草粉底液), 纪梵希(恒颜清透粉底液)，雅诗兰黛(DW持久粉底液)，阿玛尼(柔亮光泽粉底液)，Charlotte Tilbury(魔幻粉底液).

Face!

Below is a highlighter, brand Elegance #6, which can be used on the high points of the face. These are the brow bones, the cheekbones and even under the eyes. it brightens up and defines the facial features, and adds and illuminates and adds a natural glow. CoCo also picks the Jouer #adore blush/bronzer duo. This adds warmth to the the face, you know, that sun kissed look.

Lips! Lips!

Below are CoCo’s top picks for the lips. Aha! See what we did there? First is the Tom Ford #38. This is a very versatile color, perfect for daily wear or a date night, make your skin pop! Second is the Chanel #196, which is a melting color, wearable in any season, matte texture, very smooth and moist, and it is suitable for any kinds of make up. Last is the Kenzo lip balm. This is her absolute favourite, the texture is very thin, it’s not sticky, and it’s perfect for lip foundation. She’s already run out of 4!

下面是Coco最爱的唇部产品。第一个她强烈推荐的是Tomford 口红色号#38。她每次出门不知道涂什么的时候这只永远是首选！无论是日常通勤还是晚上约会都很合适。它完美的衬托你的肤色。第二个是Chanel 唇釉色号#196，非常温柔百搭的颜色，一年四季都合适, 能驾驭各种妆容。它有着哑光质地，非常滋润丝滑。Kenzo的润唇膏，这款比较冷门，但绝对是她的最爱。非常适合唇部打底，质地很薄而且不粘腻，她本人已经用光了四只！

Your eyes…

The celestial trend for bigger eyes. CoCo shared with us how to achieve the look instead. The technique is a halo eye. This look is achieved by separating the eye into the inner corner, the center, and the outer corner. You still want to achieve that almond at either side, but instead of graduating the color from light to dark, you’ll begin dark, create a shaft of light in the middle, then end dark. And repeat the same process along the bottom lash line
